My Bruised Banana

Do you ever buy a bunch of bananas and there's one King Kong looking one attached to the others? Yeah, I decided to save that one til I had eaten the others this week. When I started to peel it I saw that it had bruises all over it. It was tasty though.

Anyway...

Cosmo and I took a trip to Lake Worth on Sunday where we were abandoned by the rest of our crew. So we took a hike around Greer Island in search of signs of the infamous Goat Man. While there, we found lots of deer, duck, raccoon, and javelina tracks along with all sorts of rubbish left behind by boaters and campers. A great flock of buzzards greeted us at one end of the island and we even found a whole deer skeleton devoid of all flesh and fur. But the legendary Goat Man was nowhere to be found. So when we got home, I decided to do some research on the creature. There seems to be only one official picture of the beast (featured below) and its hard to tell what the hell you are really looking at. The creature made its only documented appearances in 1969 and 1970, has been shot by witnesses but escaped, and has a habit of throwing tires at spectators. It seems he likes his privacy and supposedly lives on Greer Island. Maybe one day we'll find him.
